Recently with the increasing problems with the home fuel thefts, Securit GB Ltd have developed a NEW product the "Securit Tank Guard".

They are designed to fit the majority of existing home fuel tanks.

Securit Tank Guard's specification: 

Securit Tank Guard are designed to enclose all types of tank’s including tank with Oil Watchman’s.

Manufactured by Securit GB Ltd's fabrication team, designed to suit the customer’s tank and access. Any orders must include information on the actual tank specification and supply digital photos of the access and the area around the tank (where possible) alternatively supply a  basic sketch.

Due to the different design and style oil watchman's they may be a resistriction on the signal. Securit GB Ltd are not liable if the signal is effect, if there is a problem we will aim to help to solve the problem.

Manufactured in 1.2mm galvanised steel with 6 years non flaking guarantee.
Galvanised steel is applied to fabricated iron and steel products by hot dip galvanising in accordance with EN ISO 1461. Galvanised steel is a layered metal substrate where a zinc layer is bonded to the steel through either hot dipping or electro coating. Hot dipping or galvanising and electro coating or electro plating are used to protect steel from corrosion in the construction manufacturing industries. 

Oil Tank Enclosures are manufactured from galvanised steel sheets and then coated in Polyester powder coatings Polyester has very good edge covering, flow properties, wear resistance in addition to gloss retention in outdoor exposure. Polyester powder coating is available in a huge range of colours and finishes and provides a great decorative finish to any product. The chemical resistance in acid environments is good, less good in alkaline environments. Polyester coatings feature hard, abrasion-resistant properties which make them ideal for such applications as architectural metalwork, shop fittings, garden and leisure equipment, handrails, roller shutter doors and sheet metalwork - 60-100 microns is typical.

To ensure the enclosure is strong and ridge, the galvanised sheets are manufactured in double returned panels and pent roof is constructed in sections, these are then all bolted together.

Securit Tank Guards are supplied with all the fixtures and fittings. The majority of the panels are bolted internally, but the few external bolts are fitted with nylock nuts to prevent exposed bolts being removed. All exposed fixing are bright zinc plate and all hinges are stainless steel. The heavy duty hasp, staples and padlocks are supplied.

Securit Tank Guards  are secured to the floor where the hard standing surface is suitable, ideally a concrete plinth, which is slightly larger than the Securit Tank Guards

To ensure that there is air circulated around the oil tank, the Securit Tank Guard is fitted with air vents.

The enclosure is designed to allow the tank to be easily filled and allow access for maintainance but can be easily disassembled if full access is required (such as tank replacement etc).

To achieve this, Securit Tank Guards are fitted with access doors,a removable inspection hatch and the whole enclosure can be unbolted if required. The access hatches are secured by heavy duty hasp and padlocks.

The gallery photos show a selection of designs Securit Gb Ltd have designed, manufactured and installed. Securit Tank Guards can be placed onto concerte plinths using counter lever brackets to support the Tank Guard.

For the larger tanks we can enclose them using galvanised sections which are simiular construction to heavy duty security fencing but the actual galvanised sections are designed around the actual shape of the oil tank.

All oil tanks are different in shape, size, positions and delivery addresses. We cannot list the price on the website.
