Who we are & where we are
History & product development of Securit GB Ltd
In August 2004 Phil Churm and Caroline Moore created Securit GB Ltd. Our company is continuing to grow from strength to strength thanks to our great working partnership, Phil’s 25 years experience in the sheet metal industry, Caroline’s experience in design and sales.
For the first 8 months we were located in Rothertham South Yorkshire and were developing our first product Securit Bike Store. This was designed by Phil Churm, who has been a keen biker since he was 17 years old. Our Bike Store is unlike other suppliers as we understand what a biker needs… something that is easy to use, secure, limited maintenance and affordable on the pocket.
Due to better prospects for the business Securit GB Ltd relocated to Unit 4 Fan Road Staveley, where Securit GB Ltd developed the Securit Scooter Store, Site Store Range and many more products. In May 2008, Securit GB Ltd relocated to bigger premises Unit 6 Foxwood Road, Chesterfield S41 9RF.
We have sold over 700 units to various supplies from Met Office (Bedford), Pattonair (Derby), Airchannel Ltd, Royal British Legion, Bolsover Council, Leicester City Council, Portsmouth Council, Gloucester Council, Newport Police Station, Newark Housing Association, council contracting companies e.g. Craftmasters (StratfordUpon Avon), Real Access (Tyne & Wear), Old Town Development (Swindon) and nationwide mobility dealers.
