Securit (GB) Ltd design brief was to create a store that is easy to assemble, can be easily disassembled to relocate, if required, and is safe, secure and easy to operate by the customer. With its simplicity of build, ease of use and inbuilt safety features we feel that we have achieved this with our new AUTO STORE, which is designed for wheelchair and mobility scooter uesers.

This store is designed to fit majority of mobility scooters with our without canopies.

The store is manufactured in 1.2mm hot dipped galvanised steel, polymer powder coated to RAL6009 (fir green). It is fitted with a single hinged door operated by an actuator door system which is secured with an electro magnetic latch and is operated by a remote keyfob. This actuator door arm is designed to make it easy to operate the Scooter Store simply click and open. The store is pre fitted with a double IP54 socket, grommet, fused switched spur and a safety light.  

Please note that the dimensions of the Securit Automated Scooter Store can be altered to suit your requirements. The door can be fitted either on the left and right hand side and all electrical components are fitted on the side of the actuator arm. 

                Operation instructions

Simply use the key fob to operate the door.
The key fob device slides open and press 1 on the keypad.
Press 1 to activate the door to open and close.
The door is designed to open 90 degrees to allow plenty of access.
The door will remain open until the key fob is pressed again.
The key fob can be operated at any time to stop the door either from opening or closing.
The safety/hazard light will flash to indicate that the door is opening or closing.
The electronic latch will automatically close.

Safety features

The door will not open or close unless the key fob has been pressed.
The door will automatically stop if it encounters an obstruction when opening or closing.
In the event of a system or power failure the actuator can be deactivated by removing the small access panel on the door and by using the access key supplied, removing the actuator pin in the arm then simply unlock the door manually with the lock key supplied.

The Auto store can then be used manually until the problem has been rectified.

PLEASE NOTE All electrical components are supplied and fitted to the Securit Scooter Store completes with easy to follow wiring instructions. However, an approved electrician must connect all the Components and set all the opening parameters for the store.Securit GB Ltd guarantees 6 years for non-flaking on the galvanised sheets and 1 year manufactures guarantee on all locks. Optional extras, accessories, electrical components are guaranteed under the manufacture’s warrantee (i.e 1 year guarantee, parts only). Securit GB Ltd are not liable nor offers any guarantees of any work done by third parties i.e. electricians and builders.

What surface and area the store will be located.  The ground surface does not have to be a flat concrete pad! Paving slabs & tarmac will be fine. However, the Automated store must be located on a flat hard standing surface. If you are unsure please call 01246 452885 and we can advise you.

Most orders will take up to 35 days

  from the order date. This timescale may be earlier because we will aim to deliver the store as soon as we can. Special sizes or specs may take longer e.g. powder coating takes and extra 5 working days.

How you would like to pay? Cheque, credit/debit card or COD. Any orders that are paid on delivery Securit GB Ltd will require a 20% deposit before we manufacture or deliver the goods. There is a 1% surcharge for paying by credit cards (Master Card & Visa business cards ). On receiving the invoice you can send a cheque payment (Make payable to Securit GB Ltd) or you can ask to pay on delivery by cash or cheque.

Trade customers 2% surcharge on credit cards. First orders are based on Profroma and paymnet must be received before dispatch of good.
