Securit GB Ltd conditions of sale
Payment:
Securit GB Ltd offers secure payment through Streamline. We accept payment by credit card there is a surcharge using this method of payment (£2.50 < £250.00 £5.00 > £500.00 £10.00 > £500.00 £20.00 £600.00 > £30.00 £1,000.00 ). Business credit cards are charged a higher surcharge. No charge to use the following payment methods debit card and cheque. No goods are despatch unless payment have been made.
Postage & packing costs:
All prices include VAT & postage to mainland UK premises. For orders outside UK they will be an additional charge. For bulk buying and purchasing more than one item please contact Securit GB Ltd for a quotation as we maybe able to reduce the postage costs & price.
CONDITIONS OF SALE
On ordering, payment & cancellation terms:
1) The placing of a telephone or written order for the goods and/or services by you will be deemed to be an offer by you to purchase the goods and/or services subject to these conditions. The issue by us of a written acknowledgement shall constitute acceptance of the order and shall create a legally binding contract subject to these conditions.
2) If the customer (retail or trade) cancels the order 4 days after ordering a standard item or 2 days after ordering a special item, Securit GB Ltd reserves the right to charge 20% of the total invoice where it deems fit. This will cover any time and work that has been done on the order item. Securit GB Ltd will proceed with the order until we receive a verbal or written confirmation that the customer has cancelled the agreement. If the customer cancels on delivery there will be an additional charge please refer to 27.) & 28.).
3) All prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price charged will be the prevailing price at the time of ordering
4) All goods remain the property of Securit (GB) Ltd until paid for in full.
5) All goods must be paid for in advance unless prior agreements have been made before manufacture and despatch of goods.
6) If the goods are paid on delivery Securit GB Ltd would require 20% deposit before commencing to manufacture and deliver the goods.
7) All payments paid by credit card (visa, Matercard) will be charged an extra surcharge.
8) Our credit account terms are 30 days from invoice date. If there is continuing late payment Securit GB Ltd has the right to close the credit account and charge a late fee of 2% of the total outstanding bill on a weekly bases.Trade credit account limit is £3000.00. Any company having a credit account with Securit (GB) Ltd can apply for higher limit,terms of which are available on request.
9) Every effort has been made to ensure that the specification in Securit (GB) Ltd leaflets is correct at the time of going to print, however technical data and dimensions are a guide only. Sometimes product specification may change; in such case Securit (GB) Ltd will do all its best to inform you when ordering. No guarantee is given or implied that goods will conform in absolute detail to the description or illustrations published.
10) Due to constant product development, Securit (GB) Ltd reserve to the right to amend /change/alters any of the product(s) as appropriate, without prior notice.
SECURIT(GB)LTD HAS DESIGN RIGHT PROTECTION ON ALL THE PRODUCTS IT DESIGNS AND MANUFACTURES.ALL APPROPRIATE LAWS WILL BE INFORCED TO PROTECTED THESE RIGHTS.
On the delivery terms:
11) If the customer decides to alter the specification by adding an optional extra or alter the product, Securit GB Ltd must have two weeks notice to amend the order. If the customer doesn’t give adequate timescale the delivery date will be delayed.
12) Signature of delivery note/order form is deemed to have accepted these conditions of sale.
13) Any periods of time quoted for delivery are to be treated as estimates. Securit (GB) Ltd shall not be held responsible for any losses suffered as a result of delivery outside the estimated delivery time.
14) Where the store is going and what surface it will be placed onto. The surface must be as flat as possible and on hard standing e.g. pavers, concrete, tarmac etc. If this information is not clear and Securit GB Ltd has additional work in levelling the ground, we, Securit (GB) Ltd, will charge you, the customer, an additional fee of £30.00 per hour to level the ground. If the client requires the ground work doing, Securit GB Ltd will undertake the work for an additional charge.
15) Delivery shall deem to be effective when goods are unloaded at the delivery address nominated by the Buyer.
16) If Securit GB Ltd are unable to deliver the goods due to access problems or the site is not prepared correctly any costs incurred may be passed onto the customer.
On the product terms & warrantee:
17) Although every effort is made to remove all sharp edges, due to the nature of the product, some may remain.
ecurit (GB) Ltd will not be held responsible for any injuries or damage, how so ever caused, when handling/building the product(s).
18) Safety gloves are supplied and must be used when handling/building the product(s).
19) Lycra gloves are supplied and must be used when handling silicon.
21) The locks are guaranteed for 1 year, parts only, against faults occurring through normal use not through a person(s) tampering with the lock.
22) Optional extras and accessories will be guarantees under the manufacture’s warrantee e.g. powder coating, lights etc.
PLEASE NOTE All electrical components are supplied and fitted to the Securit Scooter Store complete with easy to follow wiring instructions. However, an approved electrician must connect all the
components and set all the opening parameters for the Securit Automated Scooter Store.
Securit GB Ltd guarantees 6 years for non-flaking on the galvanised sheets and 5 years manufactures guarantee on all locks.
Optional extras, accessories, electrical components are guaranteed under the manufacture’s warrantee e.g. powder coating, lights, alarms etc.
Securit GB Ltd are not liable nor offers any guarantees of any work done by third parties i.e. electricians and builders.
On damage goods, non delivery of items and returning no faulty goods:
23) Securit (GB) Ltd will not be held responsible for any goods stolen or damaged in the event of forced entry, by person(s), either successful or unsuccessful, into the unit.
24) Claims of shortages or damaged goods when delivered by Securit (GB) Ltd must be made at the time of delivery.
25) Claims for shortages or damaged goods when delivered by third parties (any delivery by non Securit (GB) Ltd staff) must be made in writing to Securit (GB) Ltd within 3 days of receipt.
26) Claims for non delivery must be made to Securit (GB) Ltd within 10 days of the date of despatch shown on the invoice.
27) Securit GB Ltd reserve the right, when we feel it justified, to charge a 20% handling fee against the return of non faulty goods. If any non fault goods are returned the customer must deliver them back to Securit GB Ltd in good condition. If Securit GB Ltd is required to collect the goods there will be a 20% charge and an additional charge for labour and delivery costs.
28) On receipt of the goods the customer is not satisfied with the way the products have been manufactured e.g. the thickness of the material or the method our design team have constructed the store. Securit GB Ltd will charge you as non faulty goods.
29) As all our literature clearly states the specification and the features of our products. If the customer is still unsure we offer a free consultation service. Any specially designed stores are sent clear diagrams & specifications are listed on the invoice.
30) If any non faulty goods are return damaged Securit GB Ltd has the right to charge an additional charge to cover the cost to replace the goods.
