Q. What surface and area the store will be located. 

Please note that before installation can take place a level, firm surface will be required. (e.g. concrete, tarmac, patio 50mm/2” thick) before installation. The base must be solid, completely flat and secure. Refer to the description for the recommended base size.


If our installation team arrive on site and the ground is not suitable the store will not be installed. There may be additional charges if there is time wasted on site.

 Q. Do you get condensation in Securit Stores?

Securit GB Ltd can not garantee 100% condensation free however,we have sold over 1,000 stores in the past 7 years without any problems with condensation as every store is fitted with air vents. You can insulate your store if required. In the winter it is advisable to use an indoor cover on your bike, bicycle or scooter. We donot recommend that you use a heater.

Q.Do you need you store assembling?

Securit GB Ltd can offer an affordable professional assembly service on Scooter Store Range only, from £135.00.  

To order this service please add this onto the store price.

To save you money, you can build your own store. All our stores are supplied flat packed complete with a building kit. The kits are supplied with all the nuts/ bolts and instruction manual.

Q.Lead times.

Securit Stores Range will take between 4 - 6 weeks from the order date. This timescale may be earlier because we will aim to deliver the store as soon as we can.

Mobility shelter & covers will be dispatched with the stores or dispatched 1 - 4 days from order date by The Royal Mail or courier.

Security products will be dispatched with the stores or dispatched 1 - 4 days from order date by The Royal Mail second class or standard parcel . 

Q.How you would like to pay?

Q. Delivery charges.

All products listed on the website include UK Nationwide delivery, VAT and free delivery to majority of UK.

However, please note that any Securit Stores, optional extras and covers orders to Scottish Highlands, remote areas of the UK, some areas of Wales and Offshore locations will incurr additional delivery costs. For a full list, please refer to the list below which shows the additonal charge to deliver a Securit Store to remote please of the UK.

Unfortunately, Securit GB Ltd products are not "designed solely for use by a disabled person"

What are the Securit GB Ltd  product terms & warrantees


All Securit GB Ltd Stores are covered by the manufacturer’s comprehensive 10 year warranty.  This warranty covers product faults and outer skin perforation by rust if used under normal working conditions.


Our warranty is invalid if the above maintenance schedule has not been adhered to.


Lock Warranty


All Euro cylinder locks are covered by a 12 month warranty.

Budget Stores, scooter shelters, covers, optional extras, accessories, electrical components are not manufactured by Securit GB Ltd the guarantee is under the supplier's manufacture’s warrantee (i.e. 1 years guarantee, parts only).

Securit GB Ltd is not liable nor offers any guarantees of any work done by third parties i.e. electricians and builders.

Q. What maintenance will you need for a Scooter Store?

Securit Gb Ltd storage units are made to the highest standard possible - passing through a stringent quality control procedure.  However, to maintain the look and prolong the life of your unit we recommend you follow this basic maintenance routine:

We would suggest that all hinges be regularly greased, to ensure smooth operation.

Ensure all locking mechanisms are regularly oiled. 

 Make sure the unit is clean and free from dirt and grease. DO NOT USE A HIGH PRESSURE JET WASH.

Wash the unit (at least twice a year) with soapy water

On metal work, where the paint has been chipped or scratched: The affected area should be gently rubbed down to base metal with a medium grade sandpaper. Treat area with any rust inhibitor product, apply touch-up paint and leave to dry (touch up paint is available from our customer care department).
